TD Automotive Compressor Georgia, LLC.

Hello, my name is Kenji (Ken) Takenaka and I became President of TD Automotive Compressor Georgia (TACG) on July 1, 2008, taking over for Mr. Masaharu Suzuki.  TACG was established as a joint venture between Toyota Industries Corporation and Denso Corporation in July 2004.  Since then, we’ve gradually expanded our Machining, Assembly, and Die Cast operations, and in April 2007 we reached a total of 1 million compressors produced. Our superb high quality compressors are used by car manufacturers around the globe.

 

Here at TACG we produce the new, energy efficient, technologically advanced variable displacement-type compressor.  Our plant incorporates state of the art automated machinery, and carries out highly efficient production using the Toyota Production System (TPS).  In addition, we offer an environmentally friendly, clean, air conditioned environment that is easy for our associates to work in.

 

The TACG facility was built in conjunction with Jackson County Georgia regional development efforts.  Construction of area roads, set up of our utilities, associate hiring and training, as well as the establishment of our scholarship fund were all carried out with the cooperation of Jackson County.  We at TACG continuously strive to maintain close ties with the region, and aim to be a company that is always well respected in our community.
